Kwibuka 32: Remember, Unite, Renew

Kwibuka means “to remember” in Kinyarwanda. During Kwibuka 32, the national period of commemoration, the ADFinance team visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial in Gisozi together.

The 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi took more than one million lives across Rwanda. The memorial is the final resting place of hundreds of thousands of them. We laid wreaths at the mass graves and stood in remembrance of every life lost, and in solidarity with the survivors who carry that memory every day.
